There's a depressingly non-trivial number of doctors who aren't above making a quick buck through quackery.

Yeah, and those (handful of) people were not taking horse dewormer.

Everyone else on ivermectin though...

Yes, and most were disciplined because they were describing medication that was not intended for nor effective at treating covid. Still, there were very, very few doctors who did so.
