He saw what Elon did and hes just gearing up to pull some similar shit in 2028. Just watch. Billionaires are just gonna openly buy politicians now. They don't even have the decency to try and hide it behind several shell corporations like a normal wealthy POS anymore.
Because there aren’t any consequences. Why use money to conceal your actions when your actions don’t have consequences?
