And which party was in power for the last four years that could of easily jailed trump for j6 but was too spineless to do so?

For the record, it is biden and Harris arming Israel who are responsible for a genocide, not trump!

At least I get to drink liberal tears for the next four years. Bunch of fucking crybabies. You had four years to hold biden accountable but were out to brunch and you wonder why you fucking lost?!

The only campaign promise biden held was that “nothing will fundamentally change”. He furthered trumps immigration and environmental policies, he fucked over labor, he fucked over women, he fucked over queers, he fucked over the working class, his admin lied through their teeth about inflation (strongest economy ever! For whom?!), his foreign policy is horrendous, he refused to the a one term president as promised and instead insisted on running despite having dementia, and then dropped out at the last moment when it was obvious he was going to lose (his own internal polling from the get go showed that but he’s too narcissistic to let others lead), and the DNC refused to hold a primary which they haven’t run a fair competitive primary that didn’t involve back room deals and putting their weight on the scale since at least 2008 if not earlier.

Oh and then there’s the genocide, that trump is getting a ceasefire for under the same conditions biden failed at.

The days leading up to the agreement will be pored over in the months and years to come. After all, the terms appear awfully similar to a proposal presented by President Joe Biden last May. How much of the breakthrough was the result of a drastically changed Middle East, in which Hamas finds itself suddenly cut off from its allies and backers in Lebanon, Syria, and Iran? How much of it was born of Israeli politics, with Benjamin Netanyahu’s far-right coalition partners apparently willing, after months of opposition, to either back the deal or not topple the government over its approval? Finally, was Donald Trump’s threat of “hell to pay” if Hamas does not free the hostages by his second Inauguration, next week, a decisive factor?

Steven Witkoff, President-elect Trump’s incoming Middle East envoy, called Netanyahu’s office on Friday evening to announce that he would be arriving in Jerusalem the following afternoon, according to detailed reporting by Chaim Levinson, in the liberal Israeli newspaper Haaretz. Netanyahu’s aides reportedly told Witkoff, a billionaire real-estate investor, that the Prime Minister would gladly meet with Witkoff after the Sabbath. But Witkoff, using “salty language,” according to Levinson, insisted that Netanyahu meet him as soon as he landed. The shift in tone and demeanor seemed to catch Netanyahu unprepared. Jacob Bardugo, a political adviser to Netanyahu, conceded this week, “The pressure that Trump is exerting right now is not the kind that Israel expected.”

Wow, what a goddamn crybaby because facts hurt your poor whittle fee fees. I came with receipts you whiny butthurt lib. If you click through the Haaretz link that’s quoted in the above you’ll see the reporting is from a bunch of mainstream journalists + Reuters + AP. I quoted NYer because it has the quote from Netanyahu’s admin about trumps involvement.

But since that’s not good enough for you, here’s an Israeli analysis on the ceasefire from their liberal paper Haaretz:

Trump, as Bardugo pointed out, does indeed have a plan – a regional arrangement led by Saudi Arabia. Netanyahu has been given two options: to accept the outline gladly and willingly, or to accept it sadly and regretfully. Both lead to the same place.

Too many foreign parties are involved in the deal that will be announced: Turkey, Qatar, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and, of course, the United States. None of those went into the thick of things just to have fighting resumed in a month, minus 30 hostages. Everybody is here for the grand deal.
