I’m planning on bringing this department up for discussion any time I talk with a ‘true conservative’ Republican.
Please explain how the best way to improve government efficiency is to establish and staff a new department and give it two leaders.
I mean the whole thing is stupid but your question isn't very hard to answer for them.
"DOGE will cut out more money and bureaucracy than it creates"
And it may well! But what they're gonna cut is the shit that's actually good for people...
I forgot the name, but supposedly there's a department that essentially already exists that serves this function so it's extra stupid.
It is the Government Accountability Office (GAO).
