Fucking good. Canada also has a problem with extrajudicial Chinese actions abroad. Both China and India are famous for this bullshit.

Also USA, but the threats are usually followed by imperial invasion, assassinations, coups, etc.

To quash dissent. India is extremely concerned about Sihk separatists and murders them abroad to send a clear message that if you go against the government there's no place you'll be safe. For China it's less specific but to encourage people to conform to social norms or you'll be harassed no matter where you go.
