That Eagles D-Line was a bunch of bullies, man. The eagles were consistently leaving 7 men in coverage like they were the late 60s Vikings. I've never seen anything quite like it. It was like "Yeah Mahomes keeps throwing picks, he's running for his goddamn life out there and has no one to throw it to since he only has 5 targets and all of them are somehow triple covered"
The story only Philly fans will remember is the Eagles Secondary. They have been lockdown this year, forcing QBs to hold or check down, making the phenomenal four man rush look even better. They didn't get any press or accolades because they didn't get a lot of interceptions, and so much attention (deservedly) goes to the linemen.
how's the traditional postgame riot going?
Pretty tame as far as I know. I'm a boring suburbanite, so I don't have any first-hand insight about the state of the city. I assume whatever happened, it will be blown out of proportion by the news in other cities.
i did catch one dude being like “oh why isn’t there much of a riot tonight? we all busy fuckin’”
