Commenting on Reddit’s policies seems fair game, because those are why a lot of people are here and we should remain informed to help shape this place better.

But in this case I kind of agree with you because what’s being reported here is more of a random bad luck occurrence which just happens to hurt Reddit, and there’s low utility in that outside of schadenfreude.

No, this is like being happy that the One Ring has been thrown into the fires of mount doom. You don't get it, do you? We were ENSLAVED by reddit. Our online selves were taken prisoner by consensus userbase centralization, and now we want our former enslaver to die like the worthless fucking son of a bitch he is.
