Tell me what you need?

Cloud, Calender Sync, Contact Sync and Document Collaboration? I use a Nextcloud Instance provided and managed by my university (who have a contract with Nextcloud, a German Company)

Hetzner and many others sell managed Nextcloud Instances

For the Pictures I use a Photoprism Instance running on a VPS, but for Drop-In solutions you can also use a Plug-in for Nextcloud, or buy a managed instance, like on PikaPods

To be honest that was very over my head, but maybe I'll do some research on it sometime. I don't do self hosting so I would be looking for things that don't need that to work.

You don't need to selfhost.

Here is one place where they'll do the hosting for you, and you just use it.

I know its intimidating but getting a managed instance of nextcloud somewhere like Hetzner is really straight forward. You wont have to do much if any admin past the initial setup.

But services like Proton are a Swiss alternative to a lot of these cloud services.

That's good to know, though I wouldn't know how to do the initial setup either. 😅
