Speaking purely on their role as adjudicators of the game, the PGMOL have decided to model themselves after the thinnest of blue lines. They're trying to bully us. How many cards has Mikel gotten for just gesticulating on the sideline? How is it that I'd literally never heard of a manager actually getting thrown out for stepping out of their technical area (as long as they weren't on the pitch) until we started getting better? Fuck's sake.

I understand, but the club probably felt that it was a slap on the wrist at worst. The surrounding the ref charge is not the one that we should make a stand on, in my opinion - too hard to prove bias. If the MLS red had stood, then I would have advocated for invading Manchester
