Don't be mean. I promise to do my best to judge that fairly.

I do not care, where I draw the line excludes accepting your nonsense.
What the fuck is the point of your identity? We all know you're neither riding nor "riding" dragons. Is the whole point of your shtick to let people know you buy and use giant fantasy dildos, or what? "My gender identity is being a prolific consumer of fantasy smut"?
Either way I'm pretty sure you don't get to speak for the fucking trans community. Furries and scalies aren't trans, they're not transitioning into animals. What the fuck is your argument there? You transitioned to the third person? Fuck off.
Drag is engaged to marry a very lovely dragon. Its username is @honourarydragon@lemmy.nz. The bond between dragon and rider has changed who drag is. Although, to be honest, it isn't the first dragon drag's been spiritually bonded to.
Drag is your human shield. Transphobes on Lemmy are harassing drag instead of you. You haven't said you're trans, but you'd be way out of line if you're cis. As long as drag is around, other trans people have less to fear. If Lemmy becomes an accepting place for people like drag, then it will be very hard for fascists to transform the space into one hostile to less unusual trans people. Drag is helping the rest of the trans community. Drag is willingly being the front line in this fight rather than hiding in the closet. The expendable soldier. The shock trooper.
And you don't like that. You're not grateful, you want to do the fascists' job for them and take down the front line, exposing the vulnerable trans people who, after drag is gone, will be the new most unusual and most hated. You're hurting the trans community. It's just like the poem. Learn from history, don't repeat it.
You're not a human shield.
You're an easy target.
This situation didn't reduce overall hostility against LGBTQ people, it increases hostility. You're like the asshole in the tribe that makes the other tribes hate everyone here, because you associate with us.
Your logic only sort of works with an internet forum mindset, where banning and blocking are incredibly easy options. But the fascists aren't simply a group you can "keep out of the United States", it's a transformation of a people. A people we should have been much, much more interested in not losing.
Their empathy and understanding are necessary for survival, not an optional nice-to-have we can wait for while we weather the storm. At least for most, some (New Zealanders, for example) can just sit tight and chill while the world burns. Are you from New Zealand, Drag? Is that why you don't mind alienating somewhat liberal somewhat live-and-let-live voters who are still a bit mean and judgmental?
Lemmy does not matter, not much, certainty not yet. People and politics that affect local reality matter.
And for a final note, no, you're not engaged to a dragon.
Edit: There we go, the "human shield" blocked me. Guess that's one way to live up to it.
I think this is a fantastic example of Brandolini's Law in action. The responses to each other were more or less immediate, as far as examining hours can take you, but then your responses started to take more and more time vs. theirs being within the same hour.
They can spew whatever delusional bullshit they want, while you're forced to actually examine it and detail the ramifications of such ridiculous behavior. Bravo. I'm sorry you had to take psychic damage for it, but bravo.
I don't usually make much of an effort here, but thank you for noticing that I put some thought into these.
