Afternoon everyone,

I wanted to go over a few points related to pricing, stats and the roadmap

Pricing

  1. Sync for Lemmy is completely free with ads (the same as Sync for Reddit)

  2. You can remove ads in the account picker or drawer for a one time fee of ~$20

  3. Sync Ultra also removes ads but it's not required

  4. I'll be working on regional prices over the coming weeks

There are now 24k installed users up from 100 the previous day!

I'm going to be spending the next few days going through all of the comments / messages and fixing any crashes.

Does anyone know how to get the coloured vertical lines back to show different levels of threads in comments sections? Or if that isn't a feature any more, can they please become a feature again?

Dude the fact you can link directly to settings in the app is really innovative. I don't think I've ever seen any other app do that.

Wish I could link directly to Android settings for my parents. Would save me a million years.

I end up sending screenshots with giant red circles everytime my folks forget stuff; I feel ya ๐Ÿ˜‚

As for app feedback: Everything is grand, thanks! *except * I'm bummed that tagging is an Ultra-only perk.

It's such a little thing, but linking directly to a system setting is so cool to me. For those wondering how to do it, you can long press on a setting and it'll copy the link into your clipboard, already formatted to easily paste somewhere.

In the settings it's under Comments > [Style] Show colorful comment indents.

The search box at the top of settings is also incredibly useful for this app.
