feddit.dk. I wanted a regional instance as my home instance, because they tend to be chill with controlled growth, while also having native language discussions. My country didn't have a Lemmy instance at the time, so I picked the closest option. I love Denmark and they don't seem too annoyed by my presence (yet). Thanks for having me π«Άπ» π©π°
Well, my Swedish is nonexistent so you're definitely giving my brain a workout when I read your contributions at feddit.dk xD
But we're happy to have you, the more the merrier!
Oh no! I read a lot of Danish forums and got so used to reading it that I assumed everyone can easily read what I'm writing. Should I attempt to write in Danish? I don't know what's worse, subjecting you all to the devil language or Danish that is full of errors...
To be honest I think it's good for me to work on my language skills. I've been seriously neglecting German and Nordic languages in favour of excelling in English, which is a bit dumb given that I like vacationing in our neighboring countries.
So for me it isn't a problem as long as you don't mind me using DeepL for the difficult parts :p
Speaking about regional instances, does anyone know if there's a Swedish instance?
Ja, vi har en feddit.nu! It's still quiet there because it didn't have an advertising campaign during the Reddit blackout, but I'm going to contribute to it more to help it grow, and hopefully it'll get even more members after July 1st!
