Isn't chopped onion on McDonald's hamburgers? If not I know for a fact that it's a thing at greasy spoon type places in San Bernardino though usually it ain't chopped just a whole ass ring or two.
Yes, that's how I learned i was ok with onions as a kid.
I can't think of a 'build your own burger' place, whether a backyard grill or a restaurant, that doesn't have the raw circled onion slices available.
Huh. Memory unlocked. The raw onions on McDonald's burgers are why I always got nuggets as a kid.
Nowadays I'll have some raw red onion in a sandwich on occasion, but hate the burps that follow.
