Why does the rebel fleet have (all?) its medical facilities in one ship?
"Sorry you're having a heart attack, but the doctor is on a different ship and the next shuttle is tomorrow."
Since Anakin and Obiwan have crashed so many hospitals into planets they thought they'd put em on frigates and save some expense when one goes down.
I think it's just a push to throw everything you got on the battlefield
Probably for the same reasons hospitals have medical facilities all centralized in them. The equipment and services aren't necessary all the time, but when they are it's more useful to have them all in one place. That probably doesn't stop other ships from having their own medical facilities for more day to day use.
