Hi all, we have another new mod joining the team.

@RaoulDuke@lemmy.nz has been appointed as a mod of !politics@lemmy.nz, and will be starting to look at fleshing out the details of the community.

I'm excited to be the first !politics moderator here at lemmy.nz. Together, let's create a space for engaging, respectful discussions about NZ politics. I'm committed to fostering an inclusive environment where diverse opinions are valued, while keeping the community free of hate, extremism, and spam.

There's a really good vibe here so I probably won't need to do much moderating. I'm just here to keep that on track.

Please have your say about the draft code of conduct in this post. That will guide any moderation decisions I have to make. In the meantime, if anyone's being a dick, please report them.
