lol! The highest amount donated was $496.95 and the lowest was $20. Source. These are all services canonical relies on. $20 is a slap in the face, $496.95 isn’t much better depending on how much that code is used.
Canonical is mostly a leech on open source.
The sum says 20K, so that's 1/6th of what they'll donate this year, if the article is correct.
At least they put a date on it. Jeff bezos claimed he would donate 12 billion dollars or around that to climate change initiatives.
6 years later and I have kept track of it for the first 4-5 years. He had donate a whopping <3% of what he pledged. Of course he paid a lot more to pollute more than he saved with rockets.
