⚡️At least two strikes by AN-196 "Liutyi" UAVs were recorded on VNIIR-Progress in Cheboksary.

Approximate distance from the contact line: 975 km.

Main areas of activity:

Navigation and transport equipment, specifically GNSS receivers and antennas, including the "Kometa" module — for GLONASS/GPS/Galileo systems of the same type used in UAVs and missiles ("Iskander-M," "Kalibr," etc.).

Production of automatic circuit breakers, contact and contactless equipment, relays — including for submarines (Project "Yasen-M").

Development of systems for shipbuilding, energy, and industry — including SDR, SCADA systems, and electric drives.

Design and manufacturing of electronic modules, applied computing and peripheral equipment, and ASIC components.

If you have dominant air superiority (including against small fpv drones) a trainer turboprop with basic machine guns would probably be a very easy quick and cheap way lol.

Not for contested airspace, more bulk destruction of a wave of drones that have penetrated deep behind your frontlines and ideally need to be downed with cost effective means. The easiest way to lead a target with a machine gun is when you are on your targets 6 lol. I imagine one of these could chew through an obscene amount of drones in one flight.

I bet there are already unmanned variants of super tucano too.
