Half the videos games now make you run around doing the regular life shit that you can't achieve in the real world so why would we be able to do it in the game?
Much easier in game. Rather than getting soap and bucket and water and a scrubber then spending an hour cleaning the bathroom, you press a couple buttons and it's clean. Way less effort. I'd do more chores irl if they were that easy.
