Hey everyone, I've just updated pricing points for around 100 different countries for removing ads.

Please let me know how these look, it's been quite the challenge getting this right in so many different regions.

I'll be expanding localised pricing to ultra following feedback from this thread.

Cheers, Lj

Maybe someone can help me. I used to live in dubai but now live in India but still have all my Google play pricing in uae dirhams. How do i localise it to my current permanent home - India?

One other simple way is to open a new Google account and associate with your bank account in India. You can have more than one accounts in concurrent. Then, you can install the app using the new Google account. That way, you won't lose your dubai account which might have certain regional benefit.

If your your new installed app is still associated to UAE account, even though you install it through the new account, you need to install it through browser (not through Google Play app). Uninstall current app, and then sign in to Google Play with the new account through the Web browser. Install the lemmy app through there. The new install app should be associated to the new account.

This worked. Thanks

Glad to hear that.

Yep. Lj mentioned he hasn't finalized the the pricing for Ultra yet. So it's kind of weird when the users from India mentioned e.g. here they got lifetime ultra for a ridiculously very cheap price.

Whatever it is, Sync has become reachable and more affordable with the new pricing.

Here's something I found after a quick google search...

  1. On your Android device, open the Google Play Store app .
  2. At the top right, tap the profile icon.
  3. Ta p Settings General Account and device preferences.
  4. Tap the country where you want to add an account.
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions to add a payment method for that country.

OP will lose his UAE localized benefit if he do that - something I won't suggest. I would suggest to just open a new account as we can have more than one concurrent accounts. That's how I did it so I currently still keep my old account. I post on this in the same comment thread.
