"Straight Pride" just means hating LGBTQ people. The name is taken from Gay Pride, but the purpose is entirely different.
Yeah, definitely true for the Texas parade. I know somebody who is ashamed of being straight though, so there probably could exist an earnest straight pride community. What there is definitely not a need for is a straight lib movement.
Ashamed of being straight? I can understand finding it boring since it's the most common sexuality, but why be ashamed of it?
