It's not that we're sensitive. But if you know any Canadian history, what Americans laud as 'manifest destiny' has always been a threat to Canada. Hell it's the reason Canada exists in the first place. So it's not like Trump just pushed one of our buttons. Unknowingly, he pushed the button.
