[Question] Installing Steam Link (lemmy.ml)

I'm quite new to Nixos and want to install Steam Link. Has anyone ever installed it? There is a fairly old discussion on Github about it that mentions some appimage but there does not seem to be a package. Any ideas how to approach this?

I've never used Steam Link, but at a glance I'm feeling a bit confused about your use case. It's a remote play client for mobile devices, isn't it?

On NixOS you can just install Steam, which has remote play built in.

I imagine they want to install to install it on a low power device, where it wouldn't make sense to install the full steam client.

Actually I think your right. I thought I required SteamLink to play on another machine. Thats on me for not checking properly! Will get back once I've tested it.
