systemd lid switch behavior is configured with
HandleLidSwitch=,HandleLidSwitchExternalPower=,HandleLidSwitchDocked=in/etc/systemd/logind.confJust pop the magnet out of the lid.
This is the correct, cross platform solution. It works on all operating systems!
