Not entirely sure what this article is meant to convey, but if it's that F1 is not a "rich man's" game, I feel they failed spectacularly. Was really hoping there were comments for it, but couldn't find any. Thoughts?

In the sense that blowing 20k is not the domain of someone you would describe as "not rich"? Yes 100%

I had the same reaction with some Brits dropping the same amount of cash for the 2024 Euro ... Must be nice!

Yeah, top level sport is just not cheap. Can't begin to imagine how much was being dropped to go down to the Lions tour (rugby) - in this case it's every four years, or 12 if you have a specific place in mind, for saving, but still it's all such a hefty amount to be spending.

I guess enough people have it to keep the lights on in all these sports!
