Our first wouldn't sleep either (about 20 minutes at a time, until about 16 months from memory). It's so tough, and we ended up stopping going to the parents group because they were all about how much progress they were making with their sleep schedules....after we had just explained again how much trouble we were having... It's really hard, but it will get better. Someone once told me to think back a month and see what had changed, improved, etc... Even if it was a tiny thing. Helped a bit.
