I’m terrified by this as an American citizen who immigrated to Germany. I’m not eligible for citizenship here yet, but if he gets away with this, I can absolutely imagine him wanting to remove the citizenship from all Americans living abroad unrelated to military service.
Being stateless is not fun.
Look on the brightside. You'd no longer have to pay taxes to the nazi regime and have a valid excuse to seek asylum.
Not to be a downer, but I make too little to pay them now (under $100k/year as a nonresident) and I’m a German teacher for new immigrants, so I’ve got a lot of second hand experience with the asylum system that makes me not want to be a part of it if at all possible.
