Still weird design choice on the creators part.
The creator is an AI with no concept of time or continuity
Yup. And for me, it's meaningless since I refuse to enable read receipts, because I value people's privacy and my own (nobody needs to know if I read it at 2AM, immediately after receipt, or not at all).
Yeah they don’t need to know that I’m still awake drunk at 3am on Wednesday reading texts.
