Buccs @ Falcons 1:00pm ET
And the first look at the new defense looks gooooooood.
Yeah D looks pretty solid so far.
Bucs are finally moving, but they're definitely having to earn every yard.
Now I'm officially nervous about this game. We needed 7 there to answer, but walked away with 3.
Buccs can play like a very good team some days. Other days they fall far short of their talent.
And today, they're alternating between being one and then the other!
Held them to a field goal. I'm liking this stiff new defense. Now let's get the offense to settle down and put some more points on the board.
Now THAT'S what I'm talking about! Bijan gashing the Bucs defense for the score!
The defense stopped the constant pressure on Baker and the Bucs immediately scored.
Prevent defense never works.
What's the old saying? "It prevents you from winning."
Koo, I've been one of your biggest fans through the years, but I'm sorry, it's time for a change at kicker. You hit the upright on one earlier, and then cost us the tie with the wide right.
Yeah can't miss a 44 yarder.
I'm a big enough man to admit when I'm wrong. I was not happy about the draft pick when we chose Bijan, but dang if he hasn't turned out to be GREAT!
Who were you hoping for?
I can't remember exactly, but there was big defensive guy from Georgia that I wanted us to get. I felt like we needed defense.
You guys picked 2 1st round edge rushers? that's not enough? Oh wait... lol looking at wrong draft.
Man, the momentum of this game has really changed...
Well, we got into the half with a tie. I'd prefer more points, but we ain't losing, so.....
At least we got points off of that drive and tied it up. I would have preferred 7, but I'll take 3.
Yeah, Penix reminds Vilma of that famous left-handed Falcons quarterback.... Matt Ryan. ๐
I hope we can get 7 here, but I'm worried about the clock. I've seen us go up and leave too much time on the clock before. Give the Bucs time to get down the field and win in the last second.
Falcons receivers can't seem to catch balls that are right in their bread basket.
Y'know, I'm wondering if maybe these guys should have played a little in preseason?
Oh boy... you had 1st and goal with less than a yard.... and no catch! OMGGGGGGGG
Wow. This game has been nuts. Buccs score TD to take lead but miss PAT now its still a 3 point game with 59 seconds to go. Penix time.
good GAWD my stream craps out in the last minute of the game.
Saved you from seeing the ending. ๐ฉ
lol Man I was disappointed to find out from espn website the miss.
THAT'S MY QB! GO PENIX!!
HEY HEY! Glad to see this. Now let's get some people in here talking.
Penix is absolutely looking like the guy, and I couldn't be more excited.
This is where I wish we could have gotten some points off of either of those last two drives.
