How is it productive to ignore those other vectors when it comes to safeguarding your privacy?

Tackling one vector out of two is better than tackling none, in particular if you can do it at a privilege level that does not require authorization from the very people you are fighting against, or those who serve them (let's see you eg.: ask your school to block Google Ads).
