Welcome to the News community!
Rules:
1. Be civil
Attack the argument, not the person. No racism/sexism/bigotry. Good faith argumentation only. This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. Trolling is uncivil and is grounds for removal and/or a community ban. Do not respond to rule-breaking content; report it and move on.
2. All posts should contain a source (url) that is as reliable and unbiased as possible and must only contain one link.
Obvious biased sources will be removed at the mods’ discretion. Supporting links can be added in comments or posted separately but not to the post body. Sources may be checked for reliability using Wikipedia, MBFC, AdFontes, GroundNews, etc.
3. No bots, spam or self-promotion.
Only approved bots, which follow the guidelines for bots set by the instance, are allowed.
4. Post titles should be the same as the article used as source. Clickbait titles may be removed.
Posts which titles don’t match the source may be removed. If the site changed their headline, we may ask you to update the post title. Clickbait titles use hyperbolic language and do not accurately describe the article content. 5. Only recent news is allowed.
Posts must be news from the most recent 30 days.
6. All posts must be news articles.
No opinion pieces, Listicles, editorials, videos, press releases, or celebrity gossip will be allowed. All posts will be judged on a case-by-case basis. Mods may use discretion to pre-approve videos or press releases from highly credible sources that provide unique, newsworthy content not available or possible in another format.
7. No duplicate posts.
If an article has already been posted, it will be removed. Different articles reporting on the same subject are permitted. If the post that matches your post is very old, we refer you to rule 5.
8. Misinformation is prohibited.
Misinformation / propaganda is strictly prohibited. Any comment or post containing or linking to misinformation will be removed. If you feel that your post has been removed in error, credible sources must be provided.
9. No link shorteners or news aggregators.
All posts must link to original article sources. You may include archival links in the post description. News aggregators such as Yahoo, Google, Hacker News, etc. should be avoided in favor of the original source link. Newswire services such as AP, Reuters, or AFP, are frequently republished and may be shared from other credible sources.

He is building the excuse he will use to declare Martial law the last year he is in office keep from having another election.
This is what he meant when he said "You will never need to vote again"
Here we are and yet 93.7% of people will keep denying it as they watch everything this country worked for burn to the ground.
I would not be surprised if trump ordered all Whitehouse bathrooms to use Constitution toilet paper since he shits all over our constitution daily anyway.
*Martial law...
Still true
Marshall's law
i think you mean Martial Law. only matter of time, things like variations of sha'ria law will be instituted.
There is no mechanism by which to cancel elections in the United States, even under martial law. We've had them during every major conflict in our history, including the first Civil War, we'll continue to have them, even if only in blue and purple states—even if we have to risk our lives for it. Remember, elections are the purview of the states, the only way he takes them away is if they give them away.
"He's going to declare martial law to cancel elections" is misinformation. Actually, no. No more benefit of the doubt. At this point it's disinformation. Please stop spreading it.
hes installing election deniers to manage the eleciton infrastructure.
That's an entirely separate issue.
No. It isn't.
Trump's schtick is to do things he's not allowed to do according to precedent. Domestic terrorism can't be prosecuted. He declares antifa domestic terrorists and promises to prosecute them and everyone who supports them. The US Military cannot be deployed on US territory. He does so anyway. Presidents can't get rich off the office while they're in the office. He's getting and has gotten stupid rich off of his office. And Presidents are not above the law, but with cover from his hand-picked supreme court, he is. What makes you think he won't deploy the military against Blue States trying to have elections and arrest anyone sent to remove him? Let's stop giving him cover and prepare for the worst, even as we hope for the best. That away, if he gets thrashed next year in the Midterms and then shown the door in 2028 (to both him and his hand-picked successor if he respects the 22nd Amendment....which is itself not a given), we can sigh a sigh of relief, but if he suspends elections, we're ready to fight him that day instead of taking a year and a half to gear up.
You do realize that Trump is a wuss, right? Again, the only way he can cancel elections is if the states allow him to. They won't. And when they refuse, he'll threaten to send the military and then wuss out like he always does. He has no mechanism for cancelling elections, and he doesn't have the stones to take them by force.
