The wooden door on the dish washer? There can be no explanation.
At first I was like, how fancy, they’ve matched their dishwasher to their cabinets. Then I saw the handle, and now I need answers.
I'm guessing that they are idiots and wanted a dishwasher with the same front as the rest of the kitchen but bought one with controls on the front instead of inside. So they mounted a front only on the lowest bit. And then because idiots (as mentioned before) they also added a handle.
