Same in Finland.

You're not allowed to wear swimsuits in a sauna, as we don't want the chlorine and waste and whatnot from the pool into the sauna. Also ofc you have to shower before going to the sauna when coming from a pool.

But for mixed public saunas, like a sauna at a beach or something, it'd be different and neither rule applies and you can just run to the lake and back no wörries.

Although if you're in a mixed sauna just with friends it's usually either all naked or men naked and women in a towel.

Although there are also a spa in my city with a mixed steam sauna with two entrances, so from there's a door into it from both the mens and women's side. Just one of those ropes like in a theater line in the center of the sauna denoting the line you shouldn't cross. Can't really see anything in there so it's fine.

Once I was in a rave at that spa though and being in the sauna, oh man, the amount of petting I could hear was wild. That's not normal for Finland though, we were just all heavily high on ecstasy and various other stimulants.
