Or, maybe it's not (just) distraction. Maybe he is seeding interest amongst the Canadian magatards. Maybe this is designed to give traction to Dani Smith and her ilk, to create division and internal strife.
Maybe Trump and the repubs have been following a playbook for all his Canada talk... maybe Putin's playbook on Ukraine.
I think this is definitely a part of it.
Yeah, it sounds too much like Russia and Crimea to me.
