What is The Night Feeling?
The Night Feeling is the thoughtful nostalgic emotion you feel when you drive alone at night, or see a city skyline at dusk with the wind in your face.
It’s a community for the feeling you get when you’re feeling lonely but at peace, thoughtful but melancholy, and homesick for something you can’t quite remember
What should we post here?
I think we should focus on original content (OC). These are images you have taken or created that invoke that night feeling we all love. I'd like to avoid music posts and non-OC as much as possible.
So far everyone seems to be doing all that and enjoying themselves so we'll keep moderation light at the moment. As we grow we may have to have a heavier hand.
Enjoy yourselves, be kind to each other, and enjoy the night.

YeSS! I had a walk home last night.. From my work studio about a mile from my home and across a river. It was delightfully peaceful and the lights reflecting of the water were mesmerizing. Across from me an older couple were on the bridge standoffs where people can look out over the river and the air was warm enough to be comfortable with a light flannel chamois shirt. Perfect October 17th evening. Will be sharing my night pics with the community, for sure. Glad to be here.
