I wouldn't call this a decoration, but this is the greatest decorating accessory: a cobweb gun!
You can get or make lots of cool spooky stuff, but it all looks new, and new is not spooky...
My ex was a comic book artist and also worked the theme park Halloween event, making sets and doing the actors' makeup and all that. We had a Halloween wedding and had a packed uhaul truck full of props, but the thing that tied it all together was the cobweb gun.
This little guy is really just a fine tipped glue gun with a fitting for an air compressor. Puking the trigger works both in tandem and it works like a superior and endless can of silly string to put realistic cobwebs anywhere! I'm not talking ones that are like the pulled apart polyester stuffing, these look legit!
We decorated our dead rose centerpieces, all the animatronics, tombstones, and we could even shoot them up to the rafters.
They make a dust flinger that works similarly to instantly age things, but we had like 2 hours to pack up, so we didn't have that.
I wouldn't use this thing outside, it's probably still not great for animals, but this gadget is amazing.
Foundd a quick demo where the results look pretty good, but it's still way better in person. It also looks like they have one you can run off a shop vac instead of a compressor, but I think you'd lose some oomph, I think the original took 80 psi.
I've been to lots of pro haunted houses and haunters conventions with her fur scouting ideas, and this was the coolest thing to me.
