A lot of this applies to me and I've been to a bunch of therapists for ADHD.

I'm doing the career for which I went to school, but I find fast-paced jobs. I know all sorts of useful stuff from decades of unfocused Wikipedia, which creates a "Texas sharpshooter" illusion of organized education. If I don't put something on the schedule, then don't count on it happening at all.
