Just watched it. Dunno even know why I even had radarr set up to get it. At first I thought it was some cringey fantasy. Then I realised it was in some kind of alternative reality that was so close to reality that it gave the uncanny valley effect. Then it just went off the rails, lol. Very unusually and entertaining movie, IMO.

Yeah, one of 4 films coming out in a two year span having been filmed on Vistavision. It's an affordable compromise to IMAX. Not as high a quality as IMAX but a fraction of the cost. Cameras are cheaper, the film stock is MUCH cheaper as it's standard 35mm. Roughly 4 times the resolution of a standard 35mm frame. I got to see it in the theater on a 70mm print and it was great.
