I mean weighted vests do exist in real life but are usually aimed a kids, like so many autism things tend to. Actually just looked it up weighted vests seem to be sold for "training" as well.

Yep, the training is called rocking. I had a friend who used one while hiking, its cool cuz it has a bunch of small metal plates that you can put on and take off to adjust the weight so you can work your way up
