Boycott US

Overview:

The community dedicated to boycotting the US until they stop fascism, restore full democracy and start following international law.

Americans have a moral obligation to resist Donald Trump and project 2025 at every turn.

America is a flawed democracy currently being ruled by oligarchs. Stop the backslide! Dont let America become the next Hungary.

America needs to challenge the court rulings of citizens united v. fec and shelby county v. holder, protect the media, implement independent district drawing, and the single transferable vote so they don't end up having people stay home in life-changing elections because they cannot vote for their favourite candidate.

Personally, I found the whole trump thing enough of a reason to finally switch from Gillette razors to a safety razor. Bit of a learning curve but not half bad. And it feels cooler shaving with something you could sort of hurt yourself with.

How about you?

(And when I get a new phone it will be HarmonyOS based likely, not Android. I’m just not going to throw away a functioning phone after the horse has run out the barn.)

I looked that up and apparently it's the operating system for Huawai phones. I wonder if we'll get those back again in Canada? I guess we can buy them as unlocked devices, but none of the major carriers stock them. The government has banned their networks over security issues, but I don't know enough about it to fully understand the problem.

The problem is that they believe (without evidence) that the Chinese are spying on them with Chinese phones because that's what Americans do (as exposed by Snowden) with American phones.
