- No manipulating votes via bots or alt accounts; this will result in permanent bans. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
- No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in an account ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be permanently banned.

Can we stop being stupid?
This doesn't mean he thinks billionaires shouldn't pay more taxes. It means it's childish and stupid to focus on a single number when it comes to actual policy.
Most of the political issues I’m dealing with stem from wealth inequality. That makes me a single issue voter. Perhaps that is childish.
And when has putting in Republicans in power improved wealth inequality? You're a single issue voter helping the party that opposes said issue. Pretty fucking embarrassing.
Weird because I went and voted for Kamala last November. Newsom isn’t running for any office yet. He’s just being an online troll, and positioning. While I appreciate the attempt to update the political strategy…. Idk if being republican light is the answer. Here’s a strategy, try to win an election only on policy without billionaires funding you in a quid pro quo manner.

I don’t believe any of that lol. I’m just pointing out that newsom is using his limited television time to proposition the 1% and not the 99% because he’s positioning for a presidential run. So I mean just keep throwing up oligarchs into government and let’s see how it plays I guess. Sounds crazy doing the same thing over and over again expecting different results. Maybe if we just got a little more money next election we can win. And then we’ll start with those socialist policies and wealth redistribution away from Newsom’s donors.
