This person might be wrong. But ive had a chip on my shoulder about Kellogg's. They changed their rice krispy treat recipe to have half as much butter, and more cereal relative to the marshmallows. And then had the nerve to call that recipe "The Original Treats(tm)". It doesn't even stick together. I think its supposed to be "healthier" but its garbage.

So there are definitely companies that engage in recipe gaslighting.
