This was really useful for me to find new communities but trying to subscribe to them via the server I joined was a bit awkward. They needed to be in a "!asklemmy@lemmy.ml" format to search and subscribe to them but the browser only gives you the link in https:// format. Not a big deal but probably not something a less tech savvy person could figure out easily.
Actually, the full URL is pretty easy to use if you know what you're doing (which of course, everybody is trying to figure out right now).
Just switch the search from "Community" to "All". Image from another thread
