I mean I know 1/1 is a very popular “birthday” for cultures that don’t actually celebrate but people are asked to pick one.

I use 2000-01-01 for most things.

Me too. I used to use 1990-01-01, until I noticed that suddenly people from the early 2000s are adults too.

I've been born in 1980 since I was like 12. Might graduate to being born in 1990 or 2000 if someone ever makes me scroll to the year.
