What is the difference between those 2 versions ?

I have a 3750G 48ports POE and I can install either one, but I don't understand the difference, as it seems the 15 is just a derivative of the 12 with syntax changes ? Is there something I'm missing ? Is there any feature you lose or gain by using 15 over 12 ?

I'm kinda lost with their versionning scheme here...
