My legit accounts are as follows:
Yes I know this is excessive and I created many of them either when I was less sure of the Fediverse or because I wanted some activity separation in who I follow or communities I'm part of. And also because of Federation issues as well. I also was kind of hoping Lemmy would have something in the future where accounts like this can be merged into a single nomadic account. I had heard of something like that but I can't find it now :/
Now that is some enthusiasm for the fediverse.
I created it a while back because I thought having the username occupied would prevent this sort of thing from happening. I was more naive back then and didn't think someone would be pathetic enough to use misspellings and lookalikes to get around that 😔.
What context are you asking for? Seems like Draconic has explained why that account exists and even put in a note explaining.
Nope, that's a user created account and a user created note. 😊
