What a good Grammarly alternative? (lemmy.world)

Grammarly is a extremely useful browser extension but it not being free and open source makes me want something better. Alternativeto.net had a few recommendations but nothing that seemed great. Any recommendations or git hub projects I can help with?

If you’re looking for a good Grammarly alternative, I’ve been really happy with Clever Humanizer’s grammar checker https://cleverhumanizer.ai/grammar-checker . It catches grammar and punctuation issues, suggests clearer phrasing, and helps make writing sound more natural without being overbearing. It’s fast, easy to use, and great for emails, essays, or posts. I’ve found it especially helpful when I need a quick polish before sharing content online.
