Honestly feeding military workers surf & turf once a year isn’t a problem for me. I wish they would do it every year they have surplus budget.
They do it before they send them to war.
Or extend deployments. The MoraleMeal^TM^ is a flexible all-in-one solution to fixing attitudea.
The expense of feeding the troops a fancy meal was a fraction of the cost of one of the hundreds of missiles they've used so far in Iran. It's just about the least objectionable line item in the entire military budget right now.
It's cute that you think actual military workers got some of this surf & turf splurge. It was only for the suits on the very top - barely military.
