That's why you use the Tuya Local one instead. It's so simple to do, literally just clicking next and picking a name. It's so much better, I got dozens of lights set up in no time.
Where can I find out more about this “Tuya Local” set up? I just ordered some Tuya soil sensors (zibgee) and a gateway so brand new to all this.

I got it set up. Thanks. I still have the Tuya app running though. Not sure if I can delete that now? Also, turns out the soil sensors are not reliable at all. Connection yes but the reading is wrong. They mostly show 100% moisture which can’t be and the soil temp differs massively in 3 pots in the same location. So not sure how useful all this is.
I would keep the tuya app installed for now. I had some issues where they would go into pairing mode and I had to reconnect them using the app.
