AI, in this case, refers to LLMs, GPT technology, and anything listed as "AI" meant to increase market valuations.

I think a lot of artists get swamped by comments asking if their work is AI in recent years, so they just put it out there proactively, to have to deal with less of these accusations.
I guess I can see that for graphic artists since their work gets more directly plagerized
