I dont know, kind of, I think Trump was blocked in some way from escalating by people who understand the responsibility that comes from wielding such powerful weapons providing indirect but substantiative resistance to a run-a-way escalation.

This doesn't change my mind that the most cowardly thing Trump could do is fully escalate to nuclear weapons or a forever war, I just think the stupidity of this foreign policy has reached a breaking point of credulity.
